Chris Mallett

by May 20, 2014

Chris is a registered Doctor of Chiropractic and has lived in the Midlands most of his life. He is very passionate about helping his patients, not only to get out of pain quickly, but also so that they can manage their conditions in the long term. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Chris first discovered his passion for chiropractic after having successful chiropractic treatment for low back pain when many others weren’t able to help. He has lived locally for many years and after gaining a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Exeter University in 1998, he enjoyed a successful career in computing before suffering a back injury playing sports.

After his injury, and realising how rewarding chiropractic can be, he became determined to train as a chiropractor and help people who experienced the same problems as himself. He finally realised his goal in July 2009 and is now a fully qualified chiropractor with a Masters of Chiropractic degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, Glamorgan. Outside of his profession, Chris enjoys mountain biking, football, cricket, travelling and spending time with his family.

With firsthand experience of how disabling back problems can be, Chris is very empathetic towards patient problems and is dedicated to relieving their discomfort whilst offering helpful advice and support. He is a strong believer that rehabilitation and strengthening exercises help to prevent long term problems and likes to encourage these in his treatment plan.

Chiropractic is suitable for all ages and there are many different gentle techniques that Chris uses in his treatments including: manipulation, massage, stretching, dry needling, SOT, activator, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
