I started practicing yoga over 15 years ago. I soon realised that I wanted to become a yoga teacher. I wanted to share the benefits of yoga to the rest of the world. I first went to a yoga teacher training school in India to sample part of there course. I then did the same in New Zealand and Manchester. In Manchester I was completing a B.A.hons degree in disability studies. It was here that I started teaching yoga, on taking over the yoga and meditation society at the university. It was during my time in Manchester that I came across dru yoga. I instantly knew that is was the style that I wanted to teach, and soon enrolled on the Dru teacher training course. I now enjoy teaching dru yoga to all abilities. This style of yoga was designed to be practiced by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups. It combines soft flowing movements with directed controlled breathing.
